There hasn't been a great deal of time for reading recently as last Thursday, eight of us hopped into a lovely coach and drove down to Hawke's Bay to scope out the Art Deco Festival that-wasn't-but-was. What time I didn't spent reading, I certainly made up for by eating! We enjoyed the very best on offer at The Mission, Te Awanga Winery, The Fire Station, Craggy Range and Mr D's. It was such a wonderful four days, and we are looking forward to returning next year in all our feathers and finery! Sadly this week is all about diet and detox ...
